The blue cross has the Hebrew phrase on it that means “I’ll exchange it some day” with the phrase in the top right meaning “hold on” referencing Heb 10:23. The JCHC stands for “Jesus Christ Hard Core”. It’s easy to follow the way of the world. It takes a real man to follow Christ. Being a Christian isn’t for sissies.
The idea stands for clinging to the old rugged cross. It’s a life of suffering (2 Tim 3:12), but also a life that sets us free from the enslavement to sin that once bound us (Rom 8:2). It’s a relentless pursuit of Christ, no matter the cost (Lk 14:28)., knowing that one day we will exchange this old rugged cross someday for a crown (2 Tim 4:8)
